Nothing like a good tickle to cheer a friend up!
Playground Work Party!
Last Saturday we had a work party on our playground. Thank you to all of the families that came to help us mow, dig up black berries, gather and spread wood chips, and get the wonderful table that Margot’s dad (Jean-Paul) built for us into the ground!
Thank you Kakumyo for the additions to the climbing structure! It has inspired some creative climbing!
Garden at Frog Song!
Margot’s dad, Jean-Paul, graciously built us planter boxes and put them on our playground so that we could start a garden! The children have been very enthusiastic about planting seeds to sprout, planting starts in the garden, and making sure that the plants get watered EVERY day (and sometimes even twice a day!)
Nature Walks
With the arrival of Spring the children became interested in searching for signs of spring. In our many nature walks the children have discovered all of the amazing changes that take place on our property during spring! They discovered flowers on plants, bushes, and trees! They noticed that the grass has gotten REALLY tall, that some places where there used to be water are now dry, and that if you walk very quietly you can sometimes find bunnies hiding in the brush!
Bunny are you in there…
A little stop at the pond for some exploration!
Then we finish the loop to the classroom for some lunch!
