Ko’in, one of our administrators, recently returned from a trip to India. Last Wednesday she visited our classroom and brought photos to share with us and brought books about some of the things she got to see and do in India!
She shared with us that to say hello people in India say, “Namaste!”
She read an introduction to yoga book where the children got to do different poses, including a lion!
The children especially enjoyed the book, “The Wheels on the Tuk Tuk.” We learned that in India there aren’t many people who have cars and people ride around on a special type of vehicle called a Tuk Tuk. The book is just like the song the wheels on the bus, but instead it sings about the Tuk Tuk and its journey around the town!
Thanks for visiting and sharing some of your trip with us Ko’in!
