Halloween was a very exciting time at Frog Song! In the weeks leading up to it our classroom buzzed with stories of pumpkin patch visits, pumpkin carving, spooky decorations, and many lyrics to our much loved Halloween song, “Full Moon Overhead.” We even had some celebrations of our own, including a trip to Bushue’s Family Farm where children got to make their very own dirt baby, go on a hay ride, pick a pumpkin and a gourd, and play in a corn maze!
We also had a classroom Halloween celebration!
This included some very special guests, including a robot…
an ear of corn…
a pumpkin…
a witch…
a spooky ghoul…
a peacock…
a pirate…
a wizard…
Ana…
a ghost…
a ninja…
and not one, but TWO Elsas!
The children then trick or treated around our property (cut very short due to the rain!).
Followed by a family picnic style lunch inside! Thank you so much for all your help, parents, on the field trip and during the trick or treating. What a delightful way to spend a rainy Halloween!
